These are "marble mazes". They are used for practicing motor skills and keeping hands busy for concentration (try them for homework time for kids with ADHD). You can find these at the Green Door Trading Co., and PPRWRK donates 100% profit from the sale of them to the Chattanooga Autism Center.
We made this with a combination of the kids drawings, my drawings, the kids paintings, my stencils...

Tim Hinck's newest composition places an eccentric collection of performers on stage together and then asks them all to do things they were never trained to do: dancers sing, musicians' movements are choreographed, actors become painters and percussionists. A succession of scenes and images -- some static, some frenetic -- help to stimulate thought and present questions about the way that our society stores and shares our knowledge. What knowledge is truly vital? How is this knowledge distorted when it is transmitted via technology or the media? Who benefits commercially from our compilation of knowledge? The audience is encouraged to "talk-back" during panel discussions that follow each of the 5 performances at the Center for Creative Arts in Chattanooga.
February 21st - 25th. Be sure to enjoy...

With special thanks to Angeleah for the beautifully colored "Grin-ade". We would love to thank the other artists, but we weren't given any names.
Until next time.

This Blue Bird stands at the corner of Forest and Frazier Ave in North Chattanooga. This soaring giant is the second of Mary's flying friends that we've installed in Chattanooga. The first was located at the corner of Lindsey St and Vine St, on the side of Chad's Records. It was similar in size and style, but had fluffier wings, and was bright yellow.
Installed September 2012
Upwards of 400 people pitched in to help with the Red Bank High School revitalization project. Their list of tasks were to paint, clean, organize, and transform 45 classrooms and several outdoor spaces in 1 week. We were commissioned to install a 12ft. tall Henry David Thoreau portrait accompanied with the quote, "Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined."
Installed July 2012.
These illustrations were turned into signage onsite.
This, our first indoor install, is located at 34 Frazier Ave in Chattanooga TN, where there is an amazing hotdog spot called GOOD DOG. Inside we installed a 2 part-er, the first is local hair legend Claudio Roley, accompanied with the words "Wie heeft mijn Frankfurter gestolen?", which when translated from Dutch is "Who stole my Frankfurter?". Then towards the back is an illustration of local superhero Harry Gellar, who is known for having donated over 100 gallons of his very rare blood type.

Garden made of found parts. Big thanks to Ryan Fugate for digging the hell out of the hole used for the pond! The fish pond had no pump or filtration- just pond plants that I collected in Sewanee and Tracy City TN and rain. The feeder fish I invited to live there lived eating bugs and algae, and more than doubled in size in the couple of years until they were released into a pond in East TN. More variety of birds attracted to site, and at least one neon pink inchworm. No pics of the veg garden, but one of the first squash.
